Kongmerce is the online-shop platform we build and run ourselves for small Hong Kong merchants: a Chinese and English storefront, FPS and bank-transfer payments, pickup and pre-orders, and AI help with product descriptions. The platform is at an early stage and is taking its first merchants, each set up with the founder.
What the platform does today
Storefront and products
Products, collections, photos and basic SEO settings, with browsing and ordering built for phones.
Local payments
FPS and bank transfer, paid straight into your account. The platform does not hold the money and charges no transaction fee. PayMe for Business is live on the first merchant's shop.
Pickup and pre-orders
Set pickup slots with a limit for each slot, and a cut-off time for pre-order products.
AI product descriptions
Turn your short notes into Chinese and English product descriptions and SEO titles. Your customers' personal data is never sent to an AI provider.
Discount codes and orders
Discount codes, order status, refunds and stock handled in one back office.
Chinese and English storefront
The storefront and product content can be offered in both languages.

What it costs
- Monthly fee The platform, hosting and updates. You run the shop yourself; the fee depends on the features and volume you need.

- Transaction fee No platform fee on FPS or bank transfer. Fees for payment services such as PayMe are charged by the provider directly.

- Quoted by product count
- Sales reports and dashboards Orders, products and customers in a report or dashboard that updates itself, combined with your POS, ads or accounting data if you need it.

Indicative prices in HKD. Once the scope is agreed we quote one fixed price for set-up and confirm the monthly fee — and nothing is charged before you accept it. Early merchants get a preferred first-year price.
Common questions
- How is Kongmerce different from Shopify or Shopline?
- Kongmerce is built for small Hong Kong merchants: local payment methods such as FPS, bank transfer and PayMe come first, with pickup slots and pre-orders. It is an early-stage platform with fewer features and apps than the large ones. If you need many third-party apps we will say so, and we can build your shop on Shopify instead.
- Has the platform launched?
- Not to the general public yet. The first merchant's shop is live, and we are taking early merchants one at a time, helping each one set up.
- Can I take credit cards?
- Today payment is mainly FPS, bank transfer and PayMe for Business. Card payment is not open yet. PayMe for Business has to be applied for by the merchant with HSBC.
- Who owns the customer data?
- You do. Customers order from your own shop, so the customer list and order records are yours and not the platform's.
- We already have an online shop. Can we move?
- We can talk it through. We help import the product data, and tell you before starting what can be moved and what cannot.
